As a teacher, we have it pretty much made. If our classes are good, it's pretty smooth sailing. Your job is relatively secure, you get paid every two weeks and during the summer holidays, and you do not have to work any ridiculous hours. The problem is that this leads us to fall into the comfort zone. This zone is ok if we never want to make more than our current teacher salary.
